Dylan Stretchbery is an actor/improviser based out of Los Angeles. Born and raised in Northwest Ohio, Dylan began performing in high school and later graduated from Bowling Green State University with a focus in theatre and film acting. While in college, Dylan was very active in the department of theatre and film, appearing in several films and plays
as well as performing with The Plastic Shatners, a student improv team.
In the fall of 2011, Dylan continued his training in the Comedy Studies program at The Second City in Chicago where several of his sketches and a song he authored were included in the final showcase.
One of his most memorable projects was a lead role in Behind the Blinds, a webseries that has gained over 300,000 views and counting. The plot centers around an independent film production lead by two Eastern European mobsters. Having no experience with this business, the mobsters hire incompetent people and everything slowly spins out of control as the director, cast members, and crew members all pitch in conflicting creative ideas. In the middle of all that, the writer (played by Dylan) fights to maintain some sort of coherence in the film and to stay alive. You can catch the webseries by clicking here.
Dylan is currently taking improv classes at The Upright Citizens Brigade. He can be seen performing throughout Los Angeles with his indie group, Free Puppies.
When not acting, Dylan enjoys watching football and is a huge fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. An eternal optimist, he predicts that next season will be the year the Browns win the Super Bowl.
